Lights available on the market
Incandescent Light Bulbs – GLS, fancy round, candle, mushroom, spherical, reflector
Low cost option with ease of replacement. Good colour rendering with warm appearance. Average lamp life of 1000 hours and capable of being dimmed. Low light output relative to other lamp types.
Fluorescent (bulbs come in tones and shapes to suit most lamps)
Compact Fluorescent (fluorescent replacements for incandescent globes)
Halogen (good for ambient lighting, long lasting bulbs)
Metal Halide (often used in large stadiums and shopping centres.)
